Kim Sullivan is veteran actor currently holding down understudy chores in The Piano Lesson by August Wilson at the Barrymore Theatre. Most recently he was Solly Two Kings in Gem of the Ocean also by August Wilson. Mr. Sullivan is one of handful of actors who has performed in all ten plays of the Wilson canon. Some of them more than once. This is his fifth production of The Piano Lesson alone. In March he is off to the Theatre de la Bastille in Paris to complete the tour of Silence and Fear, the story of Nina Simone. In that production he plays Nina’s father, John Divine. That production has been touring France, Switzerland and Portugal since 2019. Before that New Yorkers could catch him as Imamu Baraka aka Leroi Jones in Looking for Leroy by Larry Muhammad, at the Costillio Theatre. Mr. Sullivan is a graduate of NYU School of the Arts and currently resides in Philadelphia. Nina Simone. In that production he plays Nina’s father, John Divine. That production has been touring France, Switzerland and Portugal since 2019. Born and raised in Chicago, G. G. Keith is also the host of “What’s Hot! HarlemAmerica with G. Keith Alexander”, the first podcast hosted on the HarlemAmerica Digital Network. He talks with a great variety of influential black voices in the entertainment industry like Gloria Gaynor, Keith David, Dionne Warwick, Darrin Henson, Phylicia Rashad, and more.
